Photo proof for custom jewelry before the piece leaves

photo proof for custom jewelrycustom jewelrypre-shipment

Photo proof for custom jewelry is pictures of this finished piece. The booth sample and the catalog render were made to sell the design. The photo that belongs with the order is this length, this clasp, this finish, before the carton leaves.

I make Proof for that moment. You write the specs you already agreed. You attach the photos. Both sides Confirm by email. The buyer keeps one link. It is a shared pre-ship record. It is not notarization.

A sample on a table is a different piece

Custom work is a measurement. Cuban link width, tennis length, a clasp, a color of gold. The chain someone held at a show, or the photo a workshop sent last month, can be a different unit from the one in the mailer.

Crop a chat image or save it again and the file is no longer the one they sent. The sentences around it live in a thread one of you may not still have when the parcel arrives.

Photo proof for custom jewelry holds the written specs next to the original files, and both people press Confirm on that same page.

Immediate delivery, and the order that ships later

On October 6, 2026, National Jeweler published JIS Fall Returns to Miami, by Lauren McLemore. JIS Fall 2026 runs October 16 to 19 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, with more than 600 exhibitors. The show offers immediate at-show delivery and future-order buying. Sara McDonough, event director of JIS, said that mix "makes the event especially valuable this close to peak selling season."

Immediate delivery is the piece in your hand. A future order still has to be made. The unit that leaves the workshop later is the one worth locking, with the specs beside the photos.

The same page before a Guangdong export

I also run YueFetch, a Hong Kong shop for custom Cuban and tennis jewelry from Guangdong. The public steps are quote, you pay, we buy, then a freight forwarder in Huizhou or Shenzhen exports. Photos come when the seller or the forwarder has the piece. That is when I use Proof. The specs you already approved and those photos go on one page, and I do not ship until both sides Confirm. Proof is not the YueFetch checkout. It is the record around the pictures. If you want a quote, start here: yuefetch.com/request.

One page, then you ship

Proof is a shared pre-ship record.

  • Agreed specs, written once. The piece, the length, the width, the metal, the clasp, and any flaw you already flagged.
  • Photos of the piece that is leaving. Proof stores each original and a SHA-256 hash of that file. A later swap will not match.
  • Both sides Confirm by email. They open a link in a browser. No app. They Confirm with the email you invited.
  • One /p link. After both of you confirm, the page is read-only. That is the link the buyer keeps.

Start at Proof. The public sample is a key handover: the sample Proof. Same shape: terms, photos, both people confirmed, one link. To write one for a custom piece, open a shopper packet.

Free is 3 packets a month. Pro is $24 a month or $240 a year. The person you invite does not pay to view the page or to Confirm. Questions: hello@yuefetch.com.

What this is not

Proof is not a notary, and it is not a certified timestamp. The time on a photo is whatever the phone reported. A hash shows whether the stored file changed after upload. It does not show who held the camera. Confirming by email is not an identity check. I built the page so both sides could point at the same piece before it left.

Ship with a record both sides confirmed

Lock the specs, real photos, and dual confirmation before the parcel leaves.
