Shipment confirmation photos of the piece that is leaving

Shipment confirmation photos are pictures of the piece that is leaving. The listing photo is a different picture. It was made to sell the item. The photo that belongs with the shipment is this unit, on the table, before the carton closes.
I make Proof for that moment. You put the specs you already agreed next to those photos. Both sides Confirm by email. The buyer keeps one link. It is a shared record of what was packed. It is not notarization.
The photo the carrier never sees
A product photo shows a sample, or an older unit, or whatever photographed clean. It does not show the piece in this mailer. Shipment confirmation photos do: the color, the size, a mark you already named, how many are in the box.
A screenshot of the listing will not hold that. Re-save a chat image and the file is no longer the one they sent. The sentences around it live in a thread one of you may not still have when the box arrives.
Holiday postage moved today
USPS Employee News, October 4, 2026, ran Temporary price changes for holiday season take effect. Temporary holiday prices are on Priority Mail Express, Priority Mail, USPS Ground Advantage, and Parcel Select. They last through midnight Central on January 17, 2027.
The number on the label will change between now and then. The thing worth locking before the carton leaves is what was actually packed, not the rate.
One page, then you ship
Proof is a shared pre-ship record.
- Agreed specs, written once. The piece, the size, the color, the count, and any flaw you already flagged.
- Photos of the piece that is leaving. Proof stores each original and a SHA-256 hash of that file. A later swap will not match.
- Both sides Confirm by email. They open a link in a browser. No app. They Confirm with the email you invited.
- One
/plink. After both of you confirm, the page is read-only. That is the link the buyer keeps.
The public sample is a key handover: the sample Proof. Same shape: terms, photos, both people confirmed, one link. To write one for a shipment, open a shopper packet.
Free is 3 packets a month. Pro is $24 a month or $240 a year. The person you invite does not pay to view the page or to Confirm. Questions: hello@yuefetch.com.
What this is not
Proof is not a notary, and it is not a certified timestamp. The time on a photo is whatever the phone reported. A hash shows whether the stored file changed after upload. It does not show who held the camera. Confirming by email is not an identity check. I built the page so both sides could point at the same packed piece before the label went on.
